The African Books Collective
The African Books Collective (ABC) was founded and is owned and governed by African publishers. The collective is an organization of over 100 independent and autonomous African publishers. It is non-profit, and supported by government agencies and other development organizations. The ABC seeks to strengthen indigenous African publishing through collective action and to increase the visibility and accessibility of the wealth of African scholarship and culture.
