Sharon Butala

Sharon Butala is an award-winning and bestselling author of The Perfection of the Morningand recipient of the Order of Canada. Sharon was educated in small towns in Saskatoon, and at the University of Saskatchewan. She gave up work as a Special Educator to become a novelist, short story writer, and writer of creative non-fiction. She lives near Eastend,Saskatchewan, with her husband Peter on prairie ranchland that they have donated to the Nature Conservancy of Canada

David Carpenter

David Carpenter received a Saskatchewan Book Award for Courting Saskatchewan, and then retired from academia to fully concentrate on writing. He was educated in Edmonton, Oregon, and Winnipeg, and began writing in Texas in 1976 during a heat wave when there was nothing else to do. It stuck.
