Vol. 43 Issue Release Party and Open Mic Night

On April 17, 2008, we held an open mic night to celebrate the release of vol. 43 with staff, faculty, and guests. Despite the blasting heat in the room, we were thrilled with one of the largest turnouts we've ever had for an issue release party or an open mic night--over 50 people came out to support RCR! We enjoyed readings from Nicole Nguyen, an MSU poet published in the issue, staff members who read from the issue, original work from staff, and writing from other guests.

A huge thank-you goes out to all the staff members who helped set up, read, and otherwise help with the event, and an even bigger thanks to all who attended. We hope to see everyone again for the release of vol. 44!
