Issue Release Party:

“Black, White, and Read All Over”

To celebrate the publication of Volume 42 the Red Cedar Review held an issue release party on April 21 at the Kellogg Center. We had readings from authors and staff members, as well as lovely speeches from Dr. W. S. Penn, and from Teal Amthor-Shaffer and Lindsay Tigue, our graduating editors.

Thanks to the wonderful staff of RCR and friends of the journal. We were glad to share this evening with so many of the people who daily make our publication possible.

Staff Interviews:

Staff interviews are held in the spring term of each year in 17C Morrill hall by the current managing and assistant editor. If you are interested in a position as and would like to join our staff please contact Lindsey, our current managing editor, at rcreview@msu.edu.

Open Mic Nights:

In the past RCR has tried to hold one or more open mic nights per semester. These nights are open to the public; poetry, short prose, and acoustic guitar are welcome. Stay tuned for details on our open mic nights for the 2007-2008 academic year.
