tribal affairs coordinator
for the Michigan Department of
Transportation with overall
responsibility for
coordination and reporting of
MDOT-Tribal
interactions to the Office of
the Governor of Michigan. Dr.
Ruggles is also responsible
for maintaining stewardship
of all archaeological and
tribal traditional cultural
resources within the state
and federal transportation
corridors.
