    Pambazuka Press is the progressive Pan-African publisher, and is an imprint of Fahamu Books (Oxford, UK). Fahamu's vision of the world is one where people organize to emancipate themselves from all forms of oppression, recognize their social responsibilities, respect each other's differences, and realize their full potential.

    Pambazuka Press publishes titles on human rights, social justice, politics, and advocacy in Africa, written by well-known African academics, public intellectuals, and activists. Pambazuka is associated with the award- winning electronic newsletter Pambazuka News.
